While we order everything custom to your specific sizes for replacement windows, sliding glass doors and exterior doors, we have collected an overstock inventory. This gives our customers who need one window, sliding glass door or entry door the opportunity to purchase just one and have us install it in your home.
All of our overstock inventory is brand new, may have been repackaged and could have minor scratches. Our inventory will be sold as is but will come with the original warranty. You do have the chance to inspect your product and change your mind before installation. Your 50% deposit is refundable if you refuse the product.
You will save money and time by buying overstock inventory. No waiting on a manufacture to create custom sizes and you pay a discounted price. The warranty for the products you purchase will be the same manufacturer warranty for custom built products. Our process for buying overstock window inventory is different than our replacement project process.
Overstock Inventory Process
- Find out the rough measurements of the product you need replaced.
- Check our inventory online and find a close match to your rough measurements. The inventory product can be smaller, but not larger than your measurements.
- Contact our office to speak to a project coordinator. We will get you scheduled for a consultation. For a $100 non-refundable fee, Karoly will come out to your home, measure and assess the installation. Any additional installation fees to make the product fit your opening will be negotiated at that time.
- After the total price is finalized will put together a contract. This will include the cost listed for the inventory product, additional installation fees and the $300 permitting fee.
- A down payment of 50% will be due upon acceptance of the contract. We will deliver the product to your home to be unpacked and inspected. Products are sold as is and come with the original warranty. Once you inspect the product, if you decide not to purchase the product, we will refund your 50% deposit. Upon approval of the product, we will leave the products at home home until installation. We don’t want to risk damage by moving it after it has been unpackaged.
- We then pull your permit for product replacement which needs to be on-site for the installation. It could take a couple weeks for your municipality to process the permit.
- Once the permit is received we will schedule installation. We will install your products as discussed and 40% is due to the installers at the time.
- We will schedule inspection and provide you with your warranty information. Upon a passed inspection, the remaining 10% will be due and we will provide a final bill of sale and close out the permit.
