Exterior Doors with Decorative Glass
These doors make a beautiful statement to people as they walk up to your front entrance. Decorative glass exterior doors even grab the attention of drive-by buyers! The full view glass doors, which have glass the full length of the door slab, hold the number one spot for most purchased doors. Other options include ¾ view, ½ view and ¼ view glass.

Can I put this decorative glass on that door?
Not all decorative glass options can be made for each door. There are special styles that can be made to fit doors properly, but some of the design options can’t be made smaller. Some are too intricate of decorative glass to shrink the design into a smaller frame.

Masonite exterior doors with decorative glass
The classiest style of modern exterior doors is called the VistaGrande series by Masonite exterior doors. This door option only comes in clear glass and pearl textured. It allows simulated divided lights to be made from exterior grids. This option does not allow decorative glass inserted into the door. The most common door to get pre-finished at the factory, and the most bought is black exterior doors.
Our most traditional looking door is the Heritage series by Masonite exterior doors. These are craftsman exterior doors with long panels and a ¼ light window at the top. It can come with a dentil shelf or without. Decorative glass options are fewer than other doors because of the size of the window it goes into.
Fiberglass exterior doors with a traditional contoured frame around the windows are a classic choice for most people. The Belleville series in Masonite exterior doors collection is the door with the most options for decorative glass exterior doors. With craftsman-like details around inset panels and contoured frames around the decorative glass inserts, these doors bring an old charm to any home.

Fiberglass Exterior Doors with Decorative Glass
In the coastal areas of Central Florida, fiberglass exterior doors are highly recommended. Wood doors swell and contract, they rot and they warp. Steel doors will rust and oxidize over time and won’t last long around the salty air of the Gulf. Fiberglass takes a special paint to finish the decorative glass exterior door. We recommend consulting with a paint supply store.
