If a non-impact window gets struck by a flying piece of road debris or is simply subjected to heavy wind pressure, then it’s more likely to break. With only a single pane of glass between your home and the outside, that could have catastrophic consequences for your home as that debris, wind, rain, insects, wastewater, and more comes into the structure.
